MY NAME IS VICTORIA BORYSOVA, I AM THE OWNER OF ELDZH HOPE KENNEL BREEDING BLACK MINIATURE SCHNAUZERS.
WE HAVE A FAMILY KENNEL, LOCATED IN KYIV, UKRAINE.

MANAGED TO ESCAPE FROM KYIV WITH ALL OUR DOGS

I met my first standard schnauzer in 1998, It was top quality female Atris with whom I enjoyed first shows, obedience training, handling, grooming and later I understood that I will be a breeder.
In the year 2008, I bought my first black color zwergschnauzer Desiree Eldzh Hope from the breeder Elena Belyaeva, who became Multichampion, International champion, and a numerous BIS winner.
On top of all her other qualities, Zara was just an incredibly charismatic and great type of miniature schnauzer, and I fell in love with the breed completely and irrevocably. Even now many youngsters in our kennel are descendants of Desiree Eldzh Hope.

It so happened, that Elena ceased breeding some years ago, and now I am the breeder and the owner of the Eldzh Hope kennel. I have significantly expanded the gene pool and have been continuing the Eldzh Hope line ever since.
HOW IT ALL STARTED

Within several years I attended shows in 20 countries - European, Baltic, and Scandinavian, with my miniature schnauzers, including such important shows as the European and World Championships. It is honorable, that my dogs were among the prize-winners at such shows like the World Championship, Finnish Winner, Amsterdam Winner, Luxemburg Winner, and some others. This confirms the high level and competitiveness of our dogs.
This was a truly important experience, thanks to which I could determine that in my kennel I want to get classical European-type zwergschnauzers according to the breed standard.

BEFORE I STARTED BREEDING SERIOUSLY, IT WAS IMPORTANT FOR ME TO MAKE A PERSONAL OPINION ABOUT THE ACTUAL BLOODLINES OF MINIATURE SCHNAUZERS IN EUROPE SO I COULD DECIDE ON THE DIRECTION OF MY BREEDING.

About 10 years ago I was inspired by the idea to bring new producers and expand the gene pool of the kennel.
Thanks to cooperation with European kennels, we now have valuable bloodlines from Europe, Scandinavia and the United States.
I am proud of the fact that there is already a sixth generation of our kennel's line!

MINITURE SCHNAUZERS
Since I always loved strong service dogs, I pay much attention to the character of our zwergs. The breed zwergschnauzer was traditionally characterized as a big dog in a small body. The zwerg must remain just that - a small service dog with a great mentality, and in no case does it turn into a toy dog.

ELDZH HOPE IS A FAMILY KENNEL. ALL OUR SCHNAUZERS LIVE IN OUR HOME AS FAMILY MEMBERS.
I combine the development of the kennel with my main work, and without the help of my family, it would be simply impossible. Their input and help are invaluable. Breeding and love to schnauzers is my passion, in the development of my kennel I am constantly investing time, finances, attention, and part of our lives
Every litter of puppies is carefully planned. In each litter we strive to improve the qualities of our schnauzers, thoroughly research and choose each combination. That is why always hope that the new generation will be better than the previous one.
In 2020 we started a new way to develop the breeding program in our Eldzh Hope kennel. To remain the family kennel and not to have too many dogs at one home, to preserve good maintenance of our dogs, I am ready to entrust the best puppies to interested owners. And we will continue to develop the kennel together.

ABOUT OUR GRADUATES
Graduates of Eldzh Hope live in 19 countries around the world: the USA, and the United Kingdom. Ireland, Iceland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, France, Hungary, Poland, and Ukraine. Among owners there are leading breeders and experts - FCI breeders in Europe, Scandinavia, and Great Britain. I am grateful for the high estimation of our kennel.
Zwergschnauzers of our breeding become ISPU Champions, International Champions, and National Champions in the countries where they live. This confirms a high level of standards of breeding of our kennel.
Many of our puppies live happy life as family members and loved pets. Each owner must decide to own the zwergschnauzer understanding the high level of trust and responsibility for the wellbeing of his dog. I am always glad to provide my support with useful information on how to raise our precious schnauzers and take care of them. I am thankful that we stay in touch with the owners of my pups.

THE YEAR 2021 - VICTORIES AND PLANS
In 2021 we celebrated 20 years of Eldzh Hope kennel together with an exceptional victory of our graduate - multi-champion Versailles Eldzh Hope (owner - BlackGalaxy kennel).
Versailles Eldzh Hope got the prestigious title of the Winner of the ISPU (International Pinscher Schnauzer Union). And later became Best in Show on the 125th-anniversary show of Pinscher-Schnauzer-Klub 1895.
In December we celebrated great victory of Versailles Eldzh Hope, he became European champion on the EDS 2021.

THE YEAR 2022 – THE WARTIME IN UKRAINE
In February 2022 the russia invaded Ukraine, and in the wake of the tragic events the life of our country, my family, and my kennel have tremendously changed. Our house is located in the suburb of Kyiv and was too close to the occupied territories around Kyiv. We have experienced the worst and most scary two weeks of nightmare in our lives.
During this time one litter of black miniature puppies was growing in our house, and the second litter of black and silver puppies was born on the 3-d day of invasion and bombing.
One of our dogs Eva - Evolution Eldzh Hope died because of stress that she suffered during the aerial bombardment and long-range artillery fire.

Being in active war zone I have managed to find volunteers who helped to escape from this scary and unsafe location. We managed to take my mother, 9 years old son, and all our dogs, 3 months old puppies, and newborn 10 days old puppies. This was the hardest time in my life, but thanks to the help of volunteers and my friends German and Polish breeders of miniature schnauzers my family and dogs got everything needed to feel comfortable in such a situation.
Now we temporarily live in Poland. Unfortunately, some of my adult dogs were rehomed to loving families, that was the only way to provide them with the best care, love, and a good future. For sure, I am not proud of this decision. This is the most responsible and hardest act I have ever made, as well as leaving my home with no stuff and driving 2000 km to "nowhere". This is my tragedy. But still, I am thankful to schnauzer breeders who helped me to choose the best experienced and loving families for my dogs.
